A clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel, Restylane® is injected into specific areas of the skin to help eliminate the wrinkles and lines caused by natural aging or sun damage. Through normal aging or because of sun damage or trauma, the skin loses its underlying soft tissue support structure. To correct this condition, injections for soft tissue augmentation are given in tiny amounts using a very fine needle. The procedure is gentle and safe, and normally takes 30 minutes or less.
